Top 7 Adventures to do in Cebu
Sky Walk and the Edge Coaster
Where: Top floor of Crown Regency
Take a deep breath and face your fear. Sky Walk lets you see the whole Cebu City in a different perspective. You'll be walking around on a see-through glass but don't worry a safety harness is attached to your back to ensure you get through the activity.
Next is the Edge Coaster. You'll be seated in a roller coaster seat but instead of moving in a very fast paced ride this is one more relaxed. The seat will slowly moved to the side then it slowly bends the chair forward so you face the whole city with your hair blown in the wind. It will feel like you're falling so hold on to your seat for your dear life.
2. Island Hopping, Snorkelling and Diving.
The number of beach resort to choose from is endless. A few number of resorts offers and can recommend diving and island hopping packages too. The nearest one near the airport is the island itself where its located. From Mactan island visit nearby islets like Olango , Hilutungan, Nalusuan and and even to Pandanon Island which is almost near to the province of Bohol.
For the diving enthusiast check out Moalboal, a great place to see the sunset and Malapascua Island where you can spot thresher sharks.
Go further away from the city of Cebu and go snorkeling in the beautiful islands of : Sumilon, Camotes, Malapascua and Bantayan Island.
Zip-Line and Wake Boarding
Where: Liloan, Cebu
This adventure is not too far from the main city. Papa Kit’s Marina and Fishing Lagoon is located in Liloan, Cebu. They offer a unique zip-line ride for everyone where in you slide down above waters. I had a few rides in Papa Kits and free ones too. A friend of mine lives nearby the area so this became our meeting place for fun and chitchats.
Other activities available: fishing, horseback riding, ATV ride and wall climbing.
If you want to stay around the city then check out the first Zip-line place in Cebu. Doce Pares Park in Busay,Cebu City. A motoride or a habal-habal from JY Square Mall will take you up to the mountain.
Where: From Mantalungon Market, Dalaguete hike for one or two hours to reach the peak.
This is one of my favorite climb of all time, the climb that open up my love for mountaineering. A spectacular view of the sea and the island of Negros awaits you at the peak. A great place to see the sunrise.
Overnight camping is allowed. Please ensure you keep the place clean when you leave the site.
Where: Danao, Cebu
The Adventure land in the north side of Cebu. The park offers Wake boarding, Horseback riding, Waterfall hike, Rappelling, ATV ride and more heart pumping activities. A great place to tick off some of your bucketlist this year.
6. Waterfall Trekking and Canyoning Experience
Where: hours away from Cebu City
There are a few options that will take you to the lovely waterfalls outside the city: you can take public transports like Ceres Bus liner or V-hire (van) or your own private wheels. Check out the famous Kawasan Falls or even go farther to the south and visit the curtain like falls of Tumalog Waterfall.
Where: Oslob, Cebu
Let's go further down the road and drive 3 hours away from the city to Oslob. A place where you see and swim with the famous whale shark also known as the famous "Butanding" in Tagalog or "Tuki" in Cebuano. An adventure that you will never forget. Be there as early as possible to avoid the crowd and be the first to see them during their feeding time. This should be in your bucketlist, its amazing and surely a memorable experience for everyone.
For Cebu Accommodations:
I love this site because they have "pay later" or "pay upon arrival" when booking for rooms. This gives you options to cancel bookings, manage activities and figure out the location, and if transportation works going to your destination.
Most travelers I know booked from this site. I try to be flexible when it comes to my bookings; I go for whichever site gives me a cheaper price.

Itinerary Reminders:
1. Flight Details
Make sure to write down your booking reference number, be at the airport two hours before your flight and allocate time for your travel to the airport.
2. Accommodation Details
Write down your hotel/motel/resort/BnB booking number. Contact your place to inform them around when you'll be arriving — it really does help. Also, ask if your accommodation has any discounted activities. You'd be surprised!
3a. Transportation
List possible times your bus/train/boat arrives and leaves so you don't miss an activity. Always give yourself an extra 30-45 minutes in case you get lost, get stuck in traffic, or are looking for parking. Better early than late. Of utmost importance: check for the last trip and fares! So you still have time and money to get back.
3b. Car Rentals
Take note of your pick-up address and time allotted. Our last car rental told us to bring the car back by a certain time with a certain amount of gas. Allot money for fuel and parking.
4. Budgeting
Set aside a minimum and maximum spending amount for meals, transportation, entrance fees, activities, souvenirs and emergencies. 3 meals a day + snacks add up quickly, so keep track! As well as tips for restaurants and activities.
5. Activities
Call to confirm your booking(s) a day or so beforehand. Set alarms and/or calendar reminders for things you plan to do (i.e- bungee-jumping, river-rafting, or even city/food tours).
Do you want more adventure?
If you still have one more day to spare why not go do something unique and fun like Wall climbing or a Zip-line adventure in Cebu.
Where am I going next?
My next adventure is to check out the Hidden Waterfalls in the Southside of Cebu.
