Things To Do At Zuma Beach
If you're a sunbather or surfer, this is the beach for you. However, it's not recommended for swimming due to the strong waves.
Zuma Beach is also a great place to watch the sunset, with its panoramic views of the ocean and the surrounding hills. The beach is easily accessible and there is plenty of parking available, although it can get crowded on weekends and holidays.

Essential Beach Items to Maximize Your Beach Experience!
If you're heading to the beach, there are a few essential items that you should definitely pack in your beach bag. These will help you make the most of your time in the sun, sand, and surf!
Staying energized throughout the day is important for enjoying your summer activities. Healthy snacks like fruits, nuts or granola bars are a great way to keep your energy levels up.

Sunscreen
First and foremost, you'll want to bring sunscreen. Sunburn can be painful so look for a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30, and be sure to reapply it every few hours. Remember, using Reef Repair Sunscreen is essential to safeguard both your skin and marine life. Check out:
If you plan on spending a lot of time on the beach, you may also want to invest in a beach chair. It's a perfect spot to store your bags and snacks, plus you can now read your book in style. There's nothing like reading a book with the calming sound of waves in the background. Maybe it’s just me but it's a truly euphoric experience that you don't want to miss. Let me share a secret with you – for a summer goddess look, try pairing it up with a Tinted Lip Balm with SPF 15.
Take a look at my favorite Turkish Beach Towel! It's stylish and minimalist.
Beach Towel
Another essential item for a day at the beach is a Beach Towel. Not only will it help you dry off after a dip in the ocean, but it can also provide a comfortable surface for you to lounge on. Consider bringing a larger beach towel to spread out on the sand, as well as a smaller one to dry off with.
Sunglasses
This is something I can't leave without when I'm heading to the beach. It's a must for everyone, it does not only protect you from the stinging rays of the sun but totally enhances the summer feeling. It adds confidence for the ladies and is a great safety weapon for guys to watch bikini bottoms.
Portable Chair & A Good Book

A Reusable Water Bottle is a convenient and eco-friendly way to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Where to eat at Zuma Beach
Personally, I would recommend Paradise Cove Beach Café, located at 28128 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265. It's less than 10 minutes away from Zuma Beach. We loved the ambience here thou the prices of the meals are a bit pricey but it's worth it.
Why is Zuma Beach SOo famous?
According to my husband, it was one of the primary filming locations for the popular TV series "Baywatch," starring David Hasselhoff. That TV series really left an impression on me. It was one of those shows that made me want to try my hand at lifeguarding, although I could barely keep myself afloat, ahahaa!
Overall, Zuma Beach is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day at the beach. Whether you're a local or a tourist, you're sure to enjoy the beautiful scenery, warm weather, and fun activities this beach offers.
Have fun and be safe ^__^
