Easiest Hike in Malibu
One day I asked my husband if we could go for a short hike before we delivered our baby. I was in my third trimester at that time and little did we know our baby boy was on his way the next day. We choose to hike the Topanga Lookout Trailhead which is a short hike and great for beginners.
We wanted to see the sea of clouds at the lockout which means getting up early in the morning as soon as possible. Our hike started before 7 in the morning, and even though it was a short hike I needed to take a few breaks as I was carrying the size of a watermelon inside my belly. We reached the lookout around 7:30 am, and even though the sun was up we still managed to see a fantastic sea of clouds. Let’s go!

The trail gets challenging only to the last part where there's a slight incline to get to the lookout. If a pregnant woman in her third trimester without knowing will go into labor the next day made it, so can you!
Take in the view of the San Fernando Valley.
The blue-coloured character painted on the ground with its childish grin excited me more for the baby. Our bundle of joy was ready, we were about to meet our precious child soon.
The graffiti-covered floor was formerly a fire department observation tower.
