You will get stuck here!

Once you enter the doors to the Takashimaya Department Store you will be greeted with Pokemon artworks. Everyone got crazy taking pictures of this adorable art, and we too got into the craze.

A lot of people got stuck here, and we had to wait for everyone to leave to have our picture taken. We also went on a Monday and the crowd was manageable.

Pokemon Cafe: Book a Reservation

At the same level, you'll find the Pokemon Cafe. Opening hours is from Monday to Sunday from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

The Pokémon Cafe is notoriously difficult to reserve a table at, with eager customers swooping in like vultures to secure a spot as soon as it pops up on the website. If you're fortunate, you might snag a booking. The initial step is to secure a reservation on the Pokémon Cafe website and then let the waiting game begin.

Meet Snorlax Force

I'm absolutely head over heels for Snorlax, this cuddly Pokemon that's so dear to my heart, it even became the name for my running team back in my Singapore days. And you wouldn't believe this- I stumbled upon these adorable Snorlax socks in a Pokemon Center in Singapore! To top it off, my little one has the cutest Pikachu socks to match.

Simply Avoid The Weekends

Believe me, dodge the weekend crowds if you can! We arrived bright and early, yet even then, it was buzzing with people. But staying at Hotel Yaenomidori Tokyo was a game-changer - we simply walked over to the Pokemon Center, no taxi or train needed!

Next Must-See Destination: Tokyo Station

After soaking up all things Pokemon, we journeyed on foot to Tokyo Station in search of Ramen and more Japanese character shops. And oh boy, don't overlook this train station - it's a must-see destination in its own right! Almost like a city within a city, overflowing with a rich variety of restaurants and shops. It even houses its own mini Pokemon Center, a perfect pit-stop for that last-minute Pikachu souvenir before jetting off at the airport! Read more about that here: What To Do Inside the Tokyo Station

Have fun and be safe ^__^
