Travel Tips
  • For flights, Skyscanner is excellent for comparing the best airline deals.
  • For accommodations, our family trusts Booking.com for reasonable prices.

1. NFL Tickets with Groupon

We purchased our NFL Tickets at a cheaper price with Groupon. It’s a great platform to find affordable things to do around the city.

Plan to arrive at the stadium at least an hour before kickoff. This will give you time to find seats, explore the stadium, and grab food or souvenirs before the crowd gets crazy.

SoFi Stadium
Location: 1001 Stadium Dr, Inglewood, CA 90301

2. Parking

  • Stadium Parking Fee: 80 USD
  • Fee for Season Ticket Holders: 60 USD
  • Most residential areas around SoFi Stadium are off-limits to non-residents for parking.
  • Alternative: Park away from the stadium and walk 10 minutes back to your car after the game. We managed to park at Walnut St toward E Buckthorn Street for free.
  • Nearby residents offer parking for 40 USD.
  • Arrival Recommendation: Arrive 60 minutes before the game for parking, exploring, and food.

3. Be prepared for security

Expect to go through a security checkpoint before entering the stadium. Be sure to leave any prohibited items at home or in your car.

4. Bags Permitted

  • Small clutches that measure 4 x 6 inches are permitted.
  • Clear or transparent bags should not exceed the size of 12 x 6 x 12 inches. Make sure that all items are easily visible.

Clear Bag Policy

I didn't realize this and found it quite inconvenient to leave my bag at the bag valet. However, I had no choice since we parked in the residential area, and returning to the car would take too much time. To make things easier, simply take your phone, wallet, and keys when going to the stadium.

Bag Valets

Bag valets are available outside the stadium for a fee of 20 USD. Be sure to pick up your bags within 45 minutes after the game, or they will be sent to the lost and found section.

5. Dress According to the weather

  • Winter: Dress in Layers

Dress comfortably and in layers for the game, as temperatures can fluctuate. Start with a lightweight base layer and add a hoodie or jacket for warmth. Wear comfy shoes for walking and cheering. A hat can provide extra warmth and show team spirit. Check the weather forecast to dress appropriately and enjoy your first NFL game!

  • Summer Game: Keep Your Chill

Bring a hat, wear breathable clothing and apply sunscreen.

6. Bring your Credit Card

  • Don't forget to bring your wallet and credit cards with you. Cash is Not Accepted.

  • Everything Comes with a Premium Price:

Be prepared for the fact that all food and beverages will likely be overpriced. Ensure you allocate enough time to grab a bite and use the restroom, as games begin promptly.

Merchandise within the stadium can also be quite costly, but it serves as a wonderful keepsake from the experience. Alternatively, you might find better prices by purchasing online.

  • Food is not permitted within the stadium.
  • The only item you may bring is one unopened plastic bottle of water.

8. Amenities: For families with young children

There is a Breastfeeding station and a Baby changing station inside the stadium.

9. During the Game

Once you're at the game, don't be shy about wearing your team’s color, cheering for them and embracing the energy of the crowd. The excitement is contagious and you'll find yourself caught up in it in no time. While watching the game be sure to stay hydrated and have something to eat.

10. Enjoy the Performances

Finally, don't forget to enjoy the halftime show, which is often a spectacle in itself, featuring performances by popular musicians or other entertainers.

I used to think that watching the game on TV was just fine. But let me tell you, experiencing it live is a whole different ballgame—it's thrilling and surreal in a way you can't imagine until you're there!

I truly hope these tips help you make the most of your NFL game experience. So, grab your tickets, don your team colors with pride, and get ready to soak in the excitement of the game! You’re in for an unforgettable time!
