I love the beach vibes here - perfect for kicking back and relaxing, soaking in the serene ambience while breathing in the salty ocean air. This was during our first visit to Newport Beach. We didn't only get to see the whales and dolphins during our cruise, we also did a caricature drawing of our soon-to-be family of three. I got a cute Father's Day card at Malibu Farm Shop, it's a charming shop selling local goods and sustainable household items.

We parked near the beach and simply walked to the village and the restaurant. From here, you're a stone's throw from Newport Beach and the vibrant Balboa Village.

4. Get your Caricature
Don't miss the chance to get a caricature from Buck near Balboa Bakery Donuts. He takes both cash and Venmo.
5. Indulge in Mexican Cuisine
After all that excitement, we recommend refueling at Cabo Cantina, a lively Mexican restaurant offering great food with generous portions and a great selection of drinks, though it can get a bit loud with limited stroller space.
