Exploring Los Angeles's Oldest Farmers Market

We enjoy visiting The Original Farmers Market and The Grove from time to time. It’s a wonderful spot to catch up with friends who live downtown. The diverse food options at the Farmers Market always provide a wonderful experience, and right next door is the mall, which is a bonus if you're shopping or just exploring LA. The lively outdoor atmosphere is fantastic, featuring a large animated fountain that my little one loves, along with an upscale outdoor shopping plaza. Let’s go!

Established in 1934, the Original Farmers Market has become a significant landmark in Los Angeles.

Unique Ambience

The atmosphere offers a charming, vintage-like outdoor seating, where both locals and tourists can discover great food, fresh produce and one-of-a-kind gifts.

Must-Try Food Vendors at the Farmers Market

I tend to be selective with my choices, and here are my top favorites so far.

Banana Leaf

If you're looking for Asian cuisine, Banana Leaf offers authentic Singaporean food that's different from typical American food.

Pampas Grill Churrascaria

One of my top picks is the Pampas Grill Churrascaria. It features a buffet-style setup where you can select mouthwatering cuts of meat and various sides. After filling your plate, you simply weigh it and pay by the pound.
